The seven days leading up to Easter are historically known as Holy Week. In the early church, this was a period marked by fasting and even the cessation of conducting business. Much has changed over the years, but the tradition of the church to mark this week as unique, special, and set apart remains.
Walk with Jesus Family Event
— NCC 1st Floor
Good Friday, March 30, groups will begin the walk at noon and continue every 20 minutes through 1:40 p.m.
Join us for an unforgettable family experience this Easter. “Walk with Jesus” is a walk-through event with five interactive stations following Jesus from His triumphal entry into Jerusalem to His resurrection. Each station will have a hands-on activity and thought-provoking questions. The experience takes about one hour.
Time of Contemplation — NCC Worship Center
Good Friday, March 30, from noon-3 p.m.
Join us anytime during these hours that commemorate the hours when Christ was on the cross. Come for a time of quiet contemplation and personal, experiential interaction as you progress, at your own pace, through five stations of the cross. Childcare will not be offered.
Sunday, April 1, at 9 and 11 a.m.
Our Easter morning services explode with joy as we celebrate Jesus' victory over sin and death! Come celebrate the hope of the empty tomb at either of our identical services. Childcare will be available at both services through age 3.
The Easter season is a perfect time to invite someone to join you at church. You may be surprised how much a friend, neighbor or co-worker might appreciate being included at this time of year!
Please remember that AWANA, Edge, and Revolution will not be held Easter week.
