Full Time Position: Associate Director of Student Ministries

Summary:

As part of our Family and Student Ministries teams, Associate Director of Student Ministries is charged to pastor, teach, and lead middle and high school students, their parents, and the volunteers that serve in those ministries. This person would embrace New Community’s mission of becoming a disciple and making disciples of Jesus Christ. This person would join a staff team that values communication, collaboration, and going the extra mile.

Qualifications:

• A female who is passionate about Jesus and students (6 th – 12 th Grade)
• Excited to contribute to and collaborate with our Family Ministries Team
• A Bachelor’s Degree
• Full-time Youth Ministry experience preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Co-lead, pastor, and disciple 6 th – 12 th grade female students, student leaders, and volunteers with Student Ministry Team
2. Develop, prepare, and teach in various student ministries settings (e.g., Bible Study, Weekly Program, Sunday Class for Middle School)
3. Contribute as a member of the Student Ministry Team to the strategic planning and implementation of all middle and high school programs and events, ensuring alignment with the mission of NCC.
4. Schedule opportunities to build relationships with students and their parents in settings outside of our weekly programs
5. Serve as a member of the Family Ministries Team
6. Attend all student camps and mission trips
