Same church. Same values. Expanded footprint.
New Community exists to make disciples who live and love like Jesus, who know Him, grow up in Him, and go out for Him. Mission: Impact is our next step in that same mission: expanding our footprint so we can better support worship, children, students, groups, prayer, community, and mission for years to come.

What is Mission: Impact?
Mission: Impact is New Community Church’s building and mission expansion project. It is a church-wide step of faith as we seek to make more room for worship, discipleship, community, and mission, both here in Wexford and beyond.
Since New Community began in 1998, our mission has remained the same: to make disciples who live and love like Jesus, who know Him, grow up in Him, and go out for Him. Over the years, God has used this church to grow disciples, strengthen families, care for the hurting, connect people to Christ and community, and support mission partners locally and around the world. We are grateful for all He has done, and we believe He is not done. Mission: Impact is our next step in that same mission. This project is not about becoming a different church. It is about being the same church, with the same values, and an expanded footprint that better supports the ministry God has already entrusted to us.
The building expansion will help align our facility with our values by creating a new worship center for engaging in worship and God’s Word, a central lobby built for community, on-site offices that help create a living building throughout the week, dedicated space for student ministry and small groups, and a prayer chapel for conversation with God. As part of Mission: Impact, we are seeking to expand here so we can send there. We are committed to giving 10% of every dollar raised directly to missions. While we expand our facilities here, we are not pulling back from the mission God has called us to beyond our walls. We believe this season should increase our generosity, not decrease it, as we continue supporting mission partners and projects locally and around the world.
This is why we have talked about Mission: Impact as more than a construction project. It is a discipleship opportunity for our whole church. We are asking God to grow our faith, deepen our dependence on Him, and teach us to follow Him with prayerful generosity, obedience, sacrifice, and joy. Our goal has never been equal giving, but 100% engagement. Every person who calls New Community home is invited to be part of this in some way, whether through prayer, worship, serving, financial generosity, encouragement, or helping our church remain focused on the mission behind the project.
Mission: Impact is an important part of where we believe God is leading us next. It is our way of preparing for future ministry, making room for more people to know and follow Jesus, and expanding the impact of the gospel in our church, our neighborhoods, and the world.

Where We Are Now
God has provided in incredible ways through the generosity and faithfulness of our church family. Here's a snapshot of our progress.

Where Your Giving Is Making An Impact
Mission: Impact is about more than a building. From the beginning, we committed to setting aside 10% of Mission: Impact giving to support ministry beyond our campus. These funds have helped bless our Mission Partners serving locally and globally, as well as our ACTS Fund, which provides short-term care for individuals and families within NCC and those closely connected to our church. Even as we prepare for the future of our campus, we are grateful to see God using the generosity of our church family to make an impact right now.

About Mission: Impact
After 20 years, our current building falls short of our values of community, family, and discipleship. We believe expanding our facility will better equip our congregation to live and love like Jesus and go out for Him.
Since 2022, our leadership (pastors, elders, and staff) has been seeking God’s will. We will continue to prioritize prayer to create an environment that reflects our values and equips our people to impact the community and the world for Jesus
NCC is a church that exists to make disciples who live and love like Jesus, who grow up in Him, and who go out for Him. We are a missional church dedicated to building disciples who make a difference in God’s kingdom.
We also believe that God has positioned us for greater impact going forward due to faithful prayer, discernment and stewardship by our pastors, staff, elders, and congregation. Our goal is to “build here” by making improvements to our church facility and property so that we can “send there” by better supporting our current mission partners and other mission projects around the world. Mission: Impact encapsulates these values and goals.
Vision and Campus Plans
We aim to fully utilize our property by implementing expansion phases for worship, discipleship, and community. The new indoor areas will feature large and small gathering spaces, onsite offices, a youth ministry area, and a first-floor worship center. Outdoors, we plan to enhance the property with recreational and gathering spots to highlight its park-like setting.
All the new and renovated spaces will be designed and furnished in a way that is attractive, cost-effective, and as energy-efficient as possible. Our goal is to create a welcoming and functional facility without being excessive.
We are breaking ground in summer of 2026. It will take approximately two years to complete all the construction but we’re planning to continue to utilize our building and church property during that time. We will endeavor to minimize the disruption to our Sunday services.
Timeline and Construction
During 2026 we will continue to pray, plan, and raise funds for the building expansion. We will break ground in July of 2026. It will take approximately two years to complete all the construction but we’re planning to continue to utilize our building and church property during that time. We will endeavor to minimize the disruption.
The expansion will result in the loss of some parking spaces in front of the current building. To address this, we plan to reconfigure the flow of the lot and utilize the lot adjacent to Route 910. We are also exploring creative solutions to move people across the bridge to the main entrance. Rest assured, we will maintain the number of parking spaces required for a facility our size.

Giving and Commitments
Our desire has always been to fund Mission: Impact as fully as possible through savings, pledges, and generous giving, but every dollar does not need to be in hand before construction begins.
As we prepare to break ground, we are continuing to pursue the remaining funding needed while also preparing a modest loan package to present to banks. This allows us to move forward responsibly while maintaining flexibility throughout the construction process.
Our goal is still to minimize debt as much as possible so we can remain focused on ministry, mission partners, and serving our community. We believe limited, carefully planned borrowing is not unbiblical can be a responsible stewardship tool when used wisely and with accountability, and we will continue to keep the congregation updated as the project moves forward.
Yes. Be creative as you explore ways you and your family can give. You might have some stocks, property, or even some stored resources that God has blessed you with in the past that he might be inviting you to release or repurpose during this time. Please let us know if you need assistance with facilitating gifts of property or stock, and we would be happy to help. You can find additional information HERE. Please contact Gitti Hajduk, our business manager, at ghajduk@nccinwexford.org to make a gift of this type.
If you are new to giving at NCC: you can set up one time or recurring giving options by going to our app or our website and choosing the “Give Online” option. This will prompt you for all the necessary information. Our giving is private and secure, managed by Pushpay.
To give to Mission: Impact specifically use the drop down arrow next to fund and choose the “building fund” option. Please note that all giving (ACH, credit, or debit card) via Pushpay incurs an additional fee. You have an option (not an obligation) to cover a portion of this fee if you choose.
If you would like to adjust your current giving: you will need to login to your secure Pushpay account. Because this information is personal and secure, our NCC office cannot adjust your giving for you.
To avoid any of the additional Pushpay fees, we encourage you to give via personal check, allowing for the entire amount of your donation to go to the Mission: Impact campaign. Please make checks payable to “New Community Church” and designate your giving to Mission: Impact on the memo line.
Yes, you will receive a year-end statement for tax purposes. If you would like a cash gift to be tax deductible, please identify yourself as the giver.
NCC’s vision for Mission: Impact is something that goes beyond just financial giving (though that is a part of it!). Our goal is 100% engagement and full participation in the work that God is doing in and through his church. This can take many forms, such as prayer over Mission: Impact, helping serve in our many ministry areas during this time, encouraging words to our staff, and more. If you are not in a place to give financially, there is still a place for you here. Mission: Impact is not just a commitment to giving, but to the transformative work God is doing both in our lives and his church.
Welcome! We are so thrilled that you are here! You can make a pledge or contribution at any time during the campaign.
Your commitment is up to you! Although we asked for initial financial commitments in 2025, new and existing church members can initiate campaign commitments at any time through the completion of the project in 2027.
We are blessed with a generous congregation. The freewill offerings provided by our current members have allowed us to operate successfully since the church was founded. The Mission: Impact building and mission expansion is separate from freewill gifts. We are asking for 100% engagement in this campaign because we believe it is what God is calling us to do and we are hoping that every member of the congregation will contribute regardless of the size of the gift. Every gift matters - to us and to God.
