  • In the Steps of Boaz

    Looking for 4-5 people to be on a contact list for an as needed basis, to help receive, carry and organize non-perishable food items. Must be able to lift 10 lbs and carry down a set of stairs. Supervised children can accompany adults. 


    Task involves carrying the order from the outside parking lot down the steps  and into the center’s food pantry, followed by organizing and tidying the order on shelves.

    Should take 2 hrs or less

  • Urban Impact Foundation

    Urban Impact is in need of meals for their high school students on Wednesdays from 6:15-8:15pm. They ask meal providers to drop-off meals at 6pm at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (600 E North Ave).  If you need to drop-off earlier that can be arranged!  The dates I need filled are below:


    October 2nd

    October 9th

    October 16th

    October 30th

    November 6th

    November 13th


    Urban Impact can use individual volunteers and teams to serve concessions at athletic events and each Tuesday to provide a meal for the choir.

  • Hot Metal Bridge Church

    Prepare and Serve Dinner at The Table at Hot Metal Bridge Church on the Southside of Pittsburgh. We serve a community meal twice a week called The Table. We have opened our dining room but continue to serve meals as a take-out option if you are more comfortable with that! Contact them for more information. Other families from New Community Church have served at The Table.
