Warmth of Christmas

Each year around Christmas, NCC has a holiday tradition of supporting the students of Imani Christian Academy by providing them with a sweater to keep them warm at school as well as giving each one an educational toy or item. Families at NCC enjoy the annual connection with Imani students by taking an ornament from one of the giving trees, paying for the cost of the sweater, and purchasing the toy. All gifts are returned in a holiday gift bag in time for the party. We also host a holiday party at the school the week before their Christmas break where students are given their gifts, and our church community can come and celebrate together with the students, teachers, and faculty of the school. There are plenty of opportunities each year for the people of NCC to support this party by baking cookies, assembling gift bags, and helping the day of the party.
